About this nanny job

Hello! Seeking a female caregiver to function as a mother’s helper, mostly on workday evenings 5:30p - 8:30p (making dinner, getting kids ready for bed, packing our 7 year old’s lunchbox), and some weekends during the daytime from 3p - 830p (preparing snacks, planning activities including trips to the local park and accompanying on errands and etc, as well as managing kid dinner and bedtime). Mom and Dad have an upcoming vacation (10/10-10/16) and Grandma will be watching the kids. This role will provide support to Grandma. Prior to the trip dates this role will join the household at an abbreviated schedule to ensure comfort level with our children. Following the trip, should all agree this role will shift to an ongoing babysitter role. Requirements: ** Must be OK with pets. We have a hypoallergenic and very active Havanese puppy as well as a mostly outdoors community cat ** Must be OK with cooking/assembling meals and light housework that comes with tidying kids’ rooms and playthings (they should help) ** Must be OK with assembling 1 lunch by the end of each shift. Our 2.5 year old isn’t allowed to bring lunch to his daycare however our 7 year old daughter will need a lunch. She eats sandwiches, fruit, snacks, bento boxes with cheese and crackers and veggies- we’ll provide options and she can help. ** Must be OK with planning activities for the kids. We allow screen time but do not want them on their screens for more than 30 minutes a day. We have a basement that is always open for play, and a backyard as well as a park within walking distance
