Hello! We are looking for a fun, engaging, and patient tutor for our curious and intelligent 8-year-old daughter, Jaya. She’s currently in 4th grade and has a deep interest in quantum physics, math, and creative projects like graphic novels. We want to foster her love for science while strengthening her math skills in a way that’s both challenging and exciting. What We’re Looking For: A tutor with a background in elementary math and science, preferably with experience in introducing basic physics concepts in an age-appropriate way. Someone who can make learning fun, interactive, and tailored to Jaya’s interests, especially in science, math, and creativity. Ability to incorporate creative and hands-on activities, experiments, and problem-solving exercises. Experience working with elementary-aged children and a knack for explaining complex concepts in simple, engaging terms. Availability for 1-2 sessions per week (flexible on days and times). Responsibilities: Develop and teach a math and science curriculum that builds on Jaya’s current skills and introduces her to new concepts. Use creative teaching methods to explore topics like geometry, basic algebra, patterns, sequences, and introductory physics. Help Jaya explore her passion for quantum physics in a way that’s understandable for her age. Encourage her curiosity and provide a positive, supportive learning environment. Qualifications: Background in math, science, education, or a related field. Experience with elementary-age tutoring. Enthusiastic, creative, and adaptable teaching style. Bonus: Familiarity with quantum physics or interest in exploring it together with Jaya.
