About this nanny job

Hi! We are a family of four looking for a part-time nanny/household assistant to support our family in Capitol Hill. We are a two-parent working family (one remote and the other at an office) who travel for work and often have long hours. We are looking for someone who can come a few hours every afternoon and a few hours each weekend day (we are flexible regarding schedule). During the afternoon/evening shifts, we’re looking for someone who can do pick ups, help with dinner prep, play with kids before bedtime and do some of the bedtime routine as necessary. Most likely, at least one parent will be home by 5:30, so this is to support and give an extra hand to the parent who is home. We would like someone who can sleep over on occasion/as necessary for work travel and who would be willing to do some household manager tasks while not with the kids, such as meal prep. organizing home improvement/repairs, and running errangs/grocery shopping. Mom and dad are not the most organized, so we’re looking for someone who is proactive, not afraid to take charge, and who can help keep things on track at home! We’re a pretty informal family who likes to laugh, be silly, and play a lot outside when possible. We have always had a great relationship with our caregivers who become part of the family. We are super flexible in terms of days, time of day, hours, etc. Thanks for considering!
