About this nanny job

We are seeking a part time nanny to help care for our 16 month old. She's a vivacious, happy toddler with a big personality, who has a complex medical history and some developmental delays (although she is rapidly catching up). We're looking for a part-time nanny - ideally someone with experience caring for medically complex or special needs kiddos. Our daughter is on immunosuppressants, so vaccinations are a must and we ask anyone in the house to wear a mask, wash hands regularly & be conscientious about exposure to germs. CPR certification is also a must. Our daughter is a very easygoing, joyful little girl and despite her medical history, her day-to-day care isn't actually that different from a normal toddler - with the exception of her g-tube (which we're happy to train you on). In addition to caring for her, we’re also looking for help with light household tasks (ie doing her laundry, wiping down her toys, cleaning up after her). Mom works from home & dad is primarily a stay at home parent, so someone will typically always be here. We also have a small 4 year old mutt, so must be comfortable with dogs. Our parenting style is pretty relaxed. We mostly try to let our daughter lead while making sure she is safe, supported, respected & loved. We already have a nanny that we adore, but they are moving in December. So we're hoping to find someone who can start in November and have a few weeks where our current nanny can help onboard. We look forward to finding someone great to help us care for our little superhero!
