Full-Time Nanny Needed in Corte Madera, CA A family in Corte Madera, CA, is looking for an experienced full-time nanny to join their household staff. The family consists of a husband (speaks English and Finnish), a wife (speaks English and Slovak), a 3-year-old boy, a 2-month-old boy, and a friendly medium-sized dog. They need someone who can provide loving care, is comfortable with pets, and has flexibility in their schedule. Position Details: -Location: Must work at the family’s home in Corte Madera - Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with some flexibility to assist on evenings and weekends (with additional pay). - Pay: $30/hour, with potential for a higher rate if the nanny can help with laundry, general tidying, and meal preparation. Key Responsibilities: - Infant Care: Full-day care for a 2-month-old baby. - Toddler Assistance: Help the 3-year-old get ready for daycare, feed breakfast, and walk them to the daycare center, which is within walking distance from the house. Pickup is required around 4 PM. - Caring for the toddler at home if daycare is closed or if they are unwell and unable to attend. Requirements: - Experience: Prior experience with full-time childcare. - Certification: CPR and First Aid certification preferred. - Language: Proficient in English (absolute fluency not required). The toddler also speaks fluent Spanish. - Transportation: Own reliable transportation for daily commuting; the family car is available for any transportation needs involving the children. - Comfort with Pets: Must be comfortable around dogs. - Candidacy steps: Initial interview can be over Zoom or in person at the family’s home. A trial day consisting of spending a couple hours with the family on a weekend day is preferred. (This will be paid.) Family will do background and references checks for the top candidate. Environment: The family lives in a quiet, pleasant neighborhood. Both parents work from home and will need minimal disturbance during the workday.
