About this nanny job

Seeking a nanny for a nanny share in Alameda's East End. The children will be about 3 months, and we hope to work consistently with a caregiver until they reach preschool in 2027. Ideally the share will be 3 days per week for the first month and ramping up to 5 days per week to align with parental leave schedules. Priorities include safety: CPR & Trustline certified, taking COVID and general health precautions, and providing an engaging, age-appropriate environment for them to explore and learn. We envision the nanny and children reading books, singing, taking a walk, etc - the babies have no screen time, and the nanny is off of screens unless its nap time. Additional responsibilities: prepare the children's food, clean up their bottles/dishes and toys, do the children's laundry as needed, and drive them to activities once they are old enough. Compensation: $34-38/hr (DOE), paid holidays, PTO, sick time. Pets: small dog in the home, but no pet-related tasks.
