About this nanny job

We live in Pacific Highlands Ranch and are looking for regular weekday care for our daughter for our daughter who is almost four and goes to preschool full time. The position itself would be full time $25/hour on payroll from noon - 8 pm on weekdays with the first part of the day consisting of helping with household chores, shopping, and cooking food from scratch. It would help to have experience making food from scratch, but an interest and a willingness to learn would also suffice. The job is a cooking/nannying hybrid, approximately a 50/50 split. We are looking for someone who can think and operate independently with minimal direction and who can help us optimize the time we are able to spend with our little girl. Both parents work full time, so we would hope for additional coverage on weekdays when school is not in session and both parents are working. Strong preference for someone who will demonstrate and model active, healthy, and pro-social behaviors and who has a happy demeanor and can foster a stern but fun learning environment. Fluency in Spanish or Telugu and a willingness to teach is also strongly preferred.
