About this nanny job

We are a family of 3 who moved to California about 2 years ago. Seeking 'as needed' caregiving for my 3.5 year old son who is on the spectrum. He loves playing, is very verbal, and in the process of being potty trained (in pull-ups, but we put him on the toilet a few times a day). For weekdays, I am mostly looking for dinner to night-time care for when I have meetings. My husband, who has Parkinson's, will be home for some of the evenings, but cannot do any of the heavy work (ie, bathing, dressing). For weekends, we are looking for somebody who is available for 4-5 hours to allow us time to run errands and get a little self care. This is our first time requesting a babysitter, so we're a bit nervous about the process. Experience with toddlers on the spectrum is a plus. We have small parks in our townhouse neighborhood as well as lots of sidewalks for exploring. We will prepare any meals/snacks for our son before leaving.
