About this nanny job

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and bilingual nanny (English and Spanish) to help care for our 6-month-old twin babies. The ideal candidate will have experience with infant care, be fluent in both English and Spanish, and enjoy helping to foster a loving and developmental environment for the children. You should be comfortable working alongside parents, assisting with daily routines, and supporting both indoor and outdoor play activities. Key Responsibilities: Feedings: Assist with preparing and feeding bottles, baby food, and ensuring proper nutrition for both infants. Naps & Sleep: Help establish and maintain a regular nap routine, assisting with getting the babies settled for naps and ensuring a calm, safe sleep environment. Play & Development: Engage with the twins in age-appropriate activities that promote sensory, motor, and cognitive development, including tummy time, exploration, and games. Outdoor Activities: Take the babies for walks in the stroller, play outdoors (weather permitting), and expose them to new environments to encourage sensory development. Health & Safety: Monitor the babies' health and wellbeing, including tracking feeding times, sleep patterns, and developmental progress. Respond promptly and calmly to any needs or emergencies. Parent Collaboration: Comfortably care for the babies while the parents are present, and assist with any tasks they may need help with. Maintain communication with parents regarding daily routines, developmental milestones, and any concerns. Light Household Assistance: Help with baby-related tasks such as, sterilizing bottles, and maintaining a tidy baby area. Qualifications: Experience in infant care, especially with twins, is highly preferred. Fluent in both English and Spanish. Strong understanding of infant development milestones and best practices. Comfortable working while the parents are present. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to follow and maintain routines. Responsible, patient, and trustworthy. Must have reliable transportation to and from our home.
