About this nanny job

Looking for: active, engaged nanny for a 3-month baby girl, who will help her learn basic infant skills: sitting up, crawling, using her hands, standing, making words. An ideal day: walking around the neighborhood with a stroller once or twice, practicing tummy time and hand skills, frequent speaking or reading. Some light cleaning or food prep during naps. Family details: two working parents (a writer and an engineer) with a friendly 15-pound terrier. On alternating days, one parent or the other will be working from home in a basement office, and will be available during short breaks to join with play or help with a pair of hands. Location: Noe Valley just north of 24th Street, convenient by J-Church or bus lines and near lots of shops for errands. Timing and commitment: start-date sometime between Feb. 1 and May 1, for full-time work (M-F 9-5 or 8-4). PTO, holidays, sick time negotiable. No driving needed.
