Responsibilities include organizing creative, educational, and age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, reading sessions, outdoor play, and visits to local parks or museums. Meal preparation is required, with an emphasis on nutritious meals and snacks that accommodate any dietary preferences or restrictions. The role also involves safely transporting our child to and from school, extracurricular activities, playdates, and appointments as needed. Assisting with homework and educational development is essential, fostering a positive learning environment. Light housekeeping duties related to the child, such as tidying play areas, organizing toys, and managing the child’s laundry, are expected. Maintaining open and effective communication with parents regarding the child’s progress, activities, and any concerns is crucial. Qualifications include prior experience as a nanny or babysitter, particularly with children in the 5-6 age range. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with additional training in child development or early childhood education considered a plus. Valid CPR and First Aid certification are necessary. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required, and access to a reliable vehicle is preferred. The candidate should possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities, creativity in activity planning, and excellent communication skills. Personal traits such as patience, nurturing, reliability, and energy, with a genuine passion for working with children, are highly valued. The position offers a work schedule of Monday through Wednesday, from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
