We are a family in the Kemp area seeking a reliable, patient, and engaging individual to assist our two daughters with homeschooling and provide childcare for about three hours a day. Less than a year ago, we moved to the countryside for a quieter life and decided to homeschool temporarily while we settled in. While our curriculum includes Khan Academy and traditional school books, earlier internet issues caused some delays, and now we’re looking for extra support to help our daughters catch up. Ages 14 and 9. Our goal is to prepare them for a confident transition into public school next year. Our oldest daughter is quite independent, needing only occasional guidance with her schoolwork. Our youngest, however, requires more hands-on help and supervision. Both are bright, eager learners, and we’re hoping to find someone who can provide structure, encouragement, and support. The ideal candidate should have experience working with students up to high school level. Patience, a positive attitude, and a passion for working with children are essential. While we prefer someone who can provide references and undergo a background check, the most important thing is finding the right person to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. We’re flexible with scheduling and happy to discuss timing that works for you, though we anticipate about three hours of support daily. As we live in a rural area near Kemp, reliable transportation is necessary.
