About this nanny job

Rate dependent on experience and skills. Starting at $18/hr. Vacation time and hours negotiable. Responsibilities: •Basic care for the baby, including feeding, diaper changes, and nap time. •Engage the baby in age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate activities during playtime (e.g., reading books, tummy time, supervised self-play). •Cook meals for the baby with direction from the parents. •May cook or prep for 1-2 dishes for the parents. •Maintain a safe environment. •Perform light housekeeping duties including baby laundry, operating the baby brezza to wash bottles, refilling the baby brezza formula maker, and keeping the baby’s play area and kitchen tidy. •Communicate any concerns or issues to parents via text or at the end of the day. •Provide daily reports of the baby’s activities to the parents. •Ensure the baby’s care is per the parents' guidance. Qualifications: •Prior experience with childcare. •Two referrals required. •Ability to communicate in English (not necessarily a first language). •Open to a background check. Desired Skills: •Patience and nurturing nature. •Creativity in engaging with children. •Flexibility to adapt to the family’s needs.
