Seeking a Caring and Reliable Nanny I’m looking for a nanny to join our family and care for my two children (ages 2.5 and 4) at our home in Danville. The position is for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:15 AM to 4:15/5:15 PM (27-30 hours/week) or full-time Monday to Thursday (40 hours a week). This would give you a 3 day weekend. If you wanted to do a different day off instead, we could decide on a different 4 day schedule. My current wonderful nanny is reducing her hours to 1 day per week and is flexible about which days she works. We’re looking for someone patient, nonsmoking, and who can come to our home—these are non-negotiable. Main responsibilities include: • Helping the kids get ready for their day, including preparing breakfast. • Providing enriching and age-appropriate activities for my younger child while her brother attends preschool (half-days, Monday-Friday). • Preparing and serving lunch, encouraging healthy eating habits. • Creating a warm, engaging, and structured environment that supports their development. No school drop-offs or pick-ups are required—I’ll handle that myself. What We’re Looking For: We hope to find someone who is caring, dependable, and interested in a long-term position. Ideally, we’d like to work with you until both kids are in school full-time (August 2026 (potentially a bit longer until little one is done with kindergarten if you’re interested in staying with us longer). However, we do need a 1-year commitment for the right candidate. I’m looking to hire someone between now and the next 4 weeks ideally.
