About this nanny job

Hi there, my husband and I are looking for a reliable, warm and energetic person to care for our 2 kids and support our household. This is a full-time (35-40 hours) position Monday to Friday, from noon to 7 or 8pm. Most of the time will be spent caring for our daughter who is 2-months old. Our son (who will be 3-years old in April) is in school 5 days a week, and will need care after school and when school is on break. We live in south Williamsburg and occasionally work from home (usually on Fridays), and don’t have any pets. See below for additional details and please reach out if interested! We’d love to meet you. - Full time: 35-40 hours per week - Hours: 12-7pm or 8pm M to F, occasional date night / weekends - Must have experience with infants and caring for multiple children at the same time Care of baby - Preparing and feeding bottles (formula + pumped milk) - Preparing and feeding solids starting at 6 months (in May) - Diapering and dressing - Managing nap and bedtime routines - Reading and playing - tummy time, singing / playing music, going for walks, etc. Care of toddler - Pick up from school - Reading books and playing - legos, toys, going to building’s playroom, scootering and bicycling at the park, etc - Feeding dinner and cleaning up after - Help with toileting (he is potty trained) - Managing bedtime routine, including bath - Packing lunches /snacks for school - When school is on break, also need to feed him lunch, manage nap time routine, etc Support of household - Putting away groceries that get delivered, occasionally going grocery shopping - Help with cooking/meal prep for the family (we eat the same thing) - Loading / unloading dishwasher, washing baby bottles and other items that can’t be put in dishwasher - Keeping kids rooms and common areas tidy and clean - Laundry for everyone
