About this nanny job

My husband and I are looking for a long-term “family assistant” or “mother’s helper” to become a beloved part of our family and act as a third parent during hours when our kids are not in daycare and preschool. Specifically, we could use help in the early evenings (4-7pm), and if possible also in the mornings (7-9am) and/or weekends (Sunday afternoon/evening). These times are flexible and we can level up hours to full-time, or alternatively drop the morning hours, to accommodate the right person. This is partly a nanny job for our children, ages 3 and 1. We are looking for a fun playmate for the kids, someone who will engage with them, capture their attention (so we can get stuff done around the house!), and also be a loving-and-firm parental figure. Our hope is the kids will come to adore this person and that they will be with us for years. We also need help keeping the house clean, particularly the children’s play area and the kitchen. And if you enjoy cooking, we could use some help there too! The ideal candidate would be: - A native Spanish speaker and fluent or almost fluent in English (our eldest is in Spanish immersion school, my husband and I do not speak Spanish) - ⁠Living in SF, ideally near our home in Noe Valley - ⁠Interested in staying with the right family for several years - ⁠Smart, caring, energetic, and reliable - Fun and engaging with young children No driver’s license necessary. We are open to you bringing your own children depending on the specifics. Start date is flexible.
