About this nanny job

We are looking for a new nanny to care for our two sons - 3 months and 2.5 years old. We live in San Francisco. We can guarantee a salary for 50 hours/week, we will provide 2 weeks of paid vacation, and we are willing to pay $40/hr for the right person. The role would formally start on January 27th, with 2 days of onboarding with our current nanny Jan 23rd-24th. We are looking for someone who comes highly recommended by other families. The ideal candidate is nurturing, highly experienced in caregiving for both infants and toddlers, focused on learning and development for each stage of our sons’ lives, and looking for a family to support long-term. Our current nanny became a part of our family, and we hope to have that relationship with our new nanny as well. The Role: -Based in San Francisco -Full-time nanny for 3-month-old infant and 2.5-year-old toddler (toddler goes to preschool 5 days a week from 9am -1pm) -Guaranteed salary for 50 hours/week (Monday-Friday) -Mon-Thurs: 7:30am-6pm, Friday: 8am-4pm -2 weeks paid vacation -$40/hr for both kids, $30/hr when you are with one child -Start date: January 23rd Requirements -Fluent in English -Fully vaccinated -CPR trained -Must be able to drive and have a safe driving record - we have parking at our house -Comfortable with dogs (we have a mini goldendoodle who is low maintenance, but is around all day) -Likes to get out and be active (going to the park, museums, etc - we have memberships you can use) -Infant experience (including introducing solids, getting a baby on a nap schedule, etc.) -Cultivate our toddler son’s love of learning and his curiosity with developmentally-appropriate activities -Incredibly patient and warm; a natural caregiver -Previous nanny experience is a must with explainable departures from previous families -Make nutritious meals for our toddler and baby (once he’s ready for solids) -Do family laundry 2x a week, and keep the house tidy -Exceptional communicator (texts, shares photos, provides updates throughout the day) -Previous preschool/early education experience is a bonus (not required) -Interest in doing additional hours (date nights, evenings, etc.)
