We have a 4 yo (with ASD) and a 1 yo. We are looking for someone who can work closely with 4 yo to support him in school and help the family with chores and pickup/drop offs. This is how your day would like, 1. Arrive at home (prefer 7 AM) and help kids get ready in the morning 2. Drop off 1yo at Daycare (2 blocks away from home), and take 4 yo to therapy and then to school 3. Stay with 4yo at school at times he does not have in-school therapy. He currently gets ABA therapy from noon till 3 pm everyday (M-F). 4. While he is in school and getting therapy, help with house chores - laundry, home organization, setting the bed for kids, prepare meals for kids. 5. Pick up kids from school/daycare and drop off at home. 6. Provide any therapy notes or updates to parents about the 4yo's day before leaving. We are looking for someone who can support our family, and has a basic understanding of Autism. We would like the nanny who can help our son and be consistent with implementing strategies that our therapists provide. My wife and I both speak English and we would like our Nanny to be fluent (even if it is not their first language) so we can communicate well which is critical to help our son. About our 4yo son, Most times, he can clearly articulate his needs and sometimes, he will need care giver to model the words/phrases for him to express himself He can organize and put away things but will need reminders and positive encouragement He occasional shows aggression when he is upset but is able to calm down with right approach from caregivers He has difficulty socializing and playing with other kids in school but is able to do parallel play.Nanny job details
