About this nanny job

My daughter will be 11 and in 6th grade next school year. I have had childcare through family members up to this point, but that is changing next year. She is independent, but not ready to stay home alone for multiple hours by herself after school. I’m looking for a caregiver who can pick her up from school (or be there when she gets home on the bus) and supervise her at home from 2:55 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. M-F with rare exceptions. She is in a shared custody situation and up until now, she has stayed with my family M-F after school even on her dad’s days. However, he always has the option of getting her early on his days, so this could be a 3 day a week arrangement or a full 5 for childcare. I won’t know until I can propose a cost and schedule to him. There may be longer opportunities as well on school holidays and breaks if I cannot take the whole-time off work. My expectation is that this caregiver could oversee homework, basic chores, outdoor play/exercise and starting easy dinners. Again, she is very capable of doing most of this on her own but needs basic adult supervision while she does it.
