We are looking for a loving, energetic, punctual and experienced nanny to start 2/3 to care for our 17 month old son until he starts preschool on 9/3. Both mom and dad work from home (1 parent travels for work from time to time). Responsibilities: Engage with our son in fun, developmentally appropriate ways to stimulate and help him learn-- e.g. read, sing, play games, artwork, sensory play, explore the yard, go on stroller walks, etc. Feed him snacks and meals (child does baby led weaning so he self-feeds). Change diapers and clothes. Put him down for nap at 12:30pm. Also hoping to find someone who can help with light housework (loading dishwasher/dishes, wiping counters, baby laundry, tidying) when he naps. Child has his own room and our basement is designated play area, so you will have plenty of room to play/explore! 15 hours/week guaranteed (Monday, Tuesday and Fridays 8:30am-1:30pm), but some weeks will be more/different days depending on work travel (to be discussed). Need Monday - Friday week of 2/24. May need help for occasional date nights. We also have a 4 year old who is in preschool full time and will be starting Kindergarten on 8/18.
