About this nanny job

We are looking for a nanny/sitter who has experience in childcare for 1-2 year olds. A little about our family My wife and I are both working professionals. I work 3 days a week from office while my wife works from home all days. We have one daughter who is currently 18 months old and one dog. We live in a house so there is plenty of parking space and room to engage with the child. Things we expect from our nanny- * Engage in active play with child catered towards overall child development and learning. We do not encourage screen time at this age and would prefer someone who can engage with the child without the use of phone/TV * Diaper change * Assist child in eating meals/snacks * Bathing child everyday * Naptime routine * Cleanup of child’s play area before leaving Things to note * Parking is available on the premise. We live in Durham so please consider what your daily commute would look like * While we are happy to share what we have at home in terms of food we highly encourage the sitter to arrange for their own meals * Sitter is not expected to do any meal prep for child or engaging in other household activities/chores * You will have access to WiFi and can use our entertainment system if you wish to do so * If you are concerned about the dog in the premise we can use a series of gates to isolate you from the dog * This is a temporary job for 4 hours every weekday from 1/27 - 3/14. Work hours are from 12 noon - 4 pm * payments can be made daily or at the end of the week based on sitter’s preference. Payment can be done by cash or online transfer based on sitters preference
