Position Overview We are seeking a caring, energetic, and responsible childcare provider to care for our 3-year-old grandson in our home located in El Dorado Hills, California. The ideal candidate will provide nurturing, engaging, and age-appropriate care while supporting his developmental needs. ### Key Responsibilities - Supervise and care for a 3-year-old boy in a safe, loving home environment - Prepare nutritious meals and snacks appropriate for a toddler - Engage in educational and developmental play activities - Manage daily routines including naps, diaper/potty management, and personal hygiene - Accompany child on supervised walks around our property and immediate neighborhood - Ensure child's safety at all times - Maintain a clean and organized play and eating areas ### Work Environment - Primary location: Family home in El Dorado Hills - Homeowner (myself) will be present and working remotely - Flexible schedule with potential part-time or flexible hours ### Required Qualifications - Experience with toddler-age children - CPR and First Aid certification preferred - Clean background check - Reliable transportation - Excellent references ### Desired Skills - Patience and genuine love for children - Strong communication skills - Creative approach to child engagement - Basic understanding of early childhood development ### Physical Requirements - Ability to lift up to 35 pounds - Comfortable walking on varied terrain - Active and able to participate in child-centered activities ### Compensation - Competitive hourly rate - Potential for performance-based increases - Potential for additional benefits based on experienceNanny job details
