About this nanny job

We are in need of a fun, thoughtful, kind and energetic person to hang out and help transport our 9-year old daughter from school to her after school activities. Her interest are art, pottery, music, cooking and baking, and science. The key responsibility would be to get her to these activities, the majority of which take place in the Clinton Hill/BedStuy area, so bus/train knowledge is required. Once home, help with any homework would be amazing. She is pretty self-directed at this point, although strong math skills are a plus! She's capable of making herself a snack and using the microwave to heat up leftovers if needed. She has an older brother who is 11 and is commuting into the city for school, so although he will be around some evenings, he will mostly be at his baseball practices elsewhere in the city.
