About this nanny job

We’re looking for a Part Time nanny for our son, currently 5 months old (3-4 hours per day, 5 days a week). The start date is mid-February. Downtown Brooklyn location. The ideal candidate will: - have 5+ years’ of childcare experience - be warm and loving - be proactive and engaging - be reliable and open-minded - be willing to do light housework and meal prep for the baby - have experience transitioning a baby to solids and creating healthy eating habits - have excellent references We are looking for someone who can help with daycare drop offs or pick ups for our son, Monday through Friday, along with one bottle/meal and light housework/laundry. As he reaches 6 months old, we will be integrating solids so we’re looking for someone specifically with experience in that space, and who will help with meal prep as we progress. We will consider morning help, roughly 7-10am, which includes day care drop off; we’re also considering afternoon/evening help, roughly 3-7pm, which includes daycare pick up. We can be flexible on this when we find the right person. The person must be comfortable with a good-natured 5 year old dog (though no dog care is required).
