About this nanny job

Would like to find someone that's completely comfortable and understands the needs of an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) nonverbal child. My son is a loving, silly child on the spectrum and does attend to have behavioral outburst. Safety is important for all! Understanding ASD and how to redirect him is important. He's a 10 year old boy that loves to swing, spin and of course swim. He has a playroom that he spends most of his time in, when the weather not to his liking. Mostly, we need someone to watch over him/be a buddy to him. Some of the duties which would include keeping him safe and his bedtime routine, mostly in verbal cues or gestures, reminders to him to do something or helping by hand over hand. To help him continue in his developmental skills. Willing to pay 15-22 an hour depending on experience. We are flexible with days But would prefer at least 2 days out of the week on nice regular basis. Someone(mom/father) we always be home. If/when, will pay for any extra expenses for play activities/outings, including food.
