Hello! My name is Iliana and my husband and I are hoping to find a caring nanny for our twin 2.5yo boys until they are ready for pre-school. More about us: we are a pretty loving Christian household, we have a dog, we’re all into sports and have an active lifestyle, we’re on the younger side, healthy eaters, love to go to the lake nearby, love restaurants, and of course Chicago. We have a current nanny that has been with our kids since they were 6mos and 4yo. Needless to say, she has become a part of our family but she is pursuing another career-path since she is in college. We are looking for someone who not only would properly/adequately care for our twins but who also loves early childhood education and caring for young children. In other words, we hope that this is more than just a job and you find joy in what you do! You would come to our home daily from about 9am-4:30pm (earlier end/start times on some days). I work from home 4 days a week and my husband 1 day a week so you would see us occasionally. Our ideal candidate is also someone with a driver’s license (preferred), speaks Spanish (preferred), understands developmental phases and stimulating/enriching activities for toddlers, is kind, patient, willing to discipline, can prepare easy meals for kids, and communicative. We offer 5 paid sick days, reviews every 6 months with merit-based increases, access to our car for kids’ activities, and you’re welcome to prepare your meals in our home as well. Additional note: we have a third child, 7yo boy, in elementary school. Although he won’t be in the home daily during school year, there is an opportunity to take him to and from camp during summer months.Nanny job details
