About this nanny job
Looking for a babysitter with experience working with children on the autism spectrum. Both kids are high functioning on the spectrum, and sometimes may need help with their regulation. Caregiver must have some knowledge of the various sensory approaches to helping with regulation and naturally be observant to learn what different behaviors mean and how to assist. Both children are homeschooled. Monday mornings would involve taking the kids to Rodeo Beach (near Marin Headlands) or other favorite outdoor locations and playing. This position will likely grow into more morning hours (and afternoon, if available) Summers could include taking the kids swimming at our local club, on hikes, and to the beach. Must enjoy and be comfortable in the outdoors, and be comfortable not using screens with the kids. May drive our car most days, but once in a while may need to drive children in your car (we will pay fee for use of your car).Nanny job details
