I work in film and television and my schedule can be a little wacky. I'm about to start a full-time show where I will need help with my daughter every other week. Sometimes it will be early mornings and sometimes it will be evening; rarely will it be both. It will be a lot of driving back and forth from East Austin to West Lake. For early mornings; I do have a guest room that you can go back to sleep if you'd like until it's time to wake her up, get her breakfast and take her to school. I usually do a 3-hour guarantee of pay for mornings (even if you end up only working an hour) then if I need you earlier then I will pay an additional hourly rate beyond the 3 hours. For evenings, it would be picking her up from school by 5pm, feeding her dinner, making sure she does her homework and getting her to bed by around 8:30pm. (I usually will be home before or around this time) The schedule is not consistent; I will be able to give you a heads up a week or two before on when I need help and then sometimes I have to wait to tell you the start time until I get my call sheet the night before. My kid is amazing and everyone loves her; it's a pretty easy job aside from having to get there so early sometimes. Punctuality is really important. I prefer limited screen time and someone who is an overall good example to my kid. Light cooking may be needed for dinner, but I try and make it easy if I can.Nanny job details
