About this nanny job

We are seeking a warm, nurturing nanny to care for our infant baby during the day while we primarily work from home. We follow a gentle parenting approach and are looking for someone who aligns with our philosophy—respectful, responsive, and focused on fostering a secure attachment. What We're Looking For: - Experience with infants, especially under 6 months - Familiarity with or willingness to follow gentle parenting techniques - Ability to provide engaging, developmentally appropriate enrichment (e.g., tummy time, sensory play, reading, and singing) - A patient, kind, and calm presence - Someone comfortable working in a home where parents may be present - Up-to-date on vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and COVID - Comfortable with dogs - we have a friendly lab/catahoula mix - Light baby-related tasks (e.g., bottle prep, washing baby items, tidying play area) Hours & Location: - Monday–Friday, daytime hours - some flexibility on our part (exact schedule to be discussed) - Potentially looking for recurring until she is old enough for preschool - Our home is in Camas, WA Bonus (But Not Required!): - Infant CPR/First Aid certified - Background in early childhood education or development - Willingness to babywear when needed While our current focus is on infant care, we would love to find someone open to a longer-term engagement as our child grows, potentially until preschool age.
