About this nanny job

Hi! I am Faith, We are looking for help 1-2 times a week from 11-4 pm. I was previously a sahm to my two boys for the last 3 years. I recently started a position as a new nurse and I am orienting right now (working full time, 3 12 hour shifts a week). I’m unable to drop to part time so my family is looking for help 1-2 times a week. It would be a varied schedule as nurses typically don’t have set days. However, I am able to request my days as of now so we would be able to work something out so it’s convenient for both parties. Weekdays would be more likely the days I need assistance with, 11 am-4 pm. My mom has been coming by after work at 4 to take over the evening portion for my kids! My kids nap 12-2 typically and so it would be hands on for about 3/5 hours! Cooking would not be required as my boys tend to snack all day- as most toddlers do! Although baking is our favorite activity and during nap I tend to make dough or batter up so we can have a yummy treat later- again not required but the kids love it. We have never put our kids in daycare or had them babysat by anyone but family so this is very nerve wracking for us. We want someone consistent one to two times a week. Pay would be via Venmo if that is comfortable with the sitter (or cash, but Venmo is just convenient!) A little bit about my boys, they are very sweet, veryyyy active boys. I try my best to gentle parent them and give them positive reinforcement and praise for good behavior and just accomplishing any task big or small. I build them up with words of affirmations and want them to be brave and most of all kind. But they are boys and they like to play rough and get loud- I encourage it if it’s safe and not mean.
