Seeking a Nurturing and Reliable Nanny + Family Meal Prep (30-35 Hours/Week) Our family is looking for a kind, patient, and experienced nanny to join our team starting June 2. We have a 3.5-year-old daughter and a 1.5-year-old son. I am home full-time, so we need someone who is comfortable working alongside me, co-caring when needed, and also independently caring for both children. Our daughter attends school part-time, so there will be periods when care is only needed for our son. Additionally, we are looking for someone who can meal prep for the whole family three mornings per week while I care for our youngest. We live in North Park Slope and are a short walk to a number of kids classes, playgrounds, the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, and Prospect Park. Our ideal schedule would be 8AM-5:30PM Monday through Wednesday and 12-5:30 on Thursdays, but we can be somewhat flexible on the hours. Responsibilities: -Provide attentive and loving care for one or both children -Take the child/children on outings (e.g., classes, museums, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, parks, playgrounds) -Set up age-appropriate activities to support the children’s development -Prepare dinner for the whole family (three mornings per week) -Handle children’s laundry and clean up after them before the end of the day -Occasionally provide overnight care when needed and potentially accompany family on vacation 1 week per year. Requirements: -Prior experience working with young children -Comfortable caring for two children at once -Up-to-date on vaccinations (including COVID and flu) -Reliable, proactive, and a true team playerNanny job details
