About this nanny job

Job Description: We are looking for a responsible, patient, and caring babysitter to support our 8-yr-old daughter, who is autistic, during the summer months starting in early June, with some continued support potential during the school year. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special needs, especially autism, and will be someone who can provide a safe, engaging, and structured environment. Schedule: • Days: 3–4 days per week (specific days to be discussed and agreed upon) • Hours: Approx 9 hrs per day Key Responsibilities: • Provide full-day care in our homes, split households so care would be at each respective parent's house on different days, both homes are in the north Springs area. • Assist with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and play • Engage in sensory-friendly activities, crafts, outdoor play, and quiet time • Use positive reinforcement and consistent routines • Communicate effectively with parents about the day’s events and any concerns Qualifications: • Prior experience with children on the autism spectrum strongly preferred • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) • Reliable transportation and punctuality • Calm, patient demeanor and good communication skills • Ability to follow a structured routine and adapt when needed If you are kind, dependable, and enjoy supporting children in a meaningful way, we’d love to hear from you.
