About this nanny job

We are an Ocala family looking for part-time assistance (approximately 10 hours per week), which would mostly consist of taking care of our 2 ½ year old daughter, but could also include some home care (laundry, vacuuming, tidying up / cleaning up the kitchen and/or light cooking / meal prep). We are relatively new parents and feel that, in order to thrive as individuals and as a family, part-time help is going to be an on-going need in our life. It would be ideal to hire someone for the long-term, as we plan to homeschool our daughter, which will increase the need for help. However, our main priority is finding someone who we feel comfortable having in our house and with our daughter. If that means a short-term contract or a tweak in the schedule listed, we are willing to be flexible for the right person. Here's a bit more about us: Steve is a work-from-home project manager and Karen is a mostly stay-at-home mom, minus the few hours she teaches violin & piano at a local music school. Our daughter is pretty easy-going…calm, happy and curious. She absolutely loves books and she enjoys simple art projects, as well as playing with toys and imaginative play. We are a Christian family with wholistic values, from diet to education to leisure to discipline. We do not do any screen time for our daughter and we try to get her outside in some capacity every day.
